Cherry started her working life as a carpenter and Rach spent her days in the property industry. Their shared passion for the environment united them and they opened Ecolnes Refillery together in 2022. Their journey started with a simple idea and has blossomed into a thriving business that promotes sustainability and eco-friendly practices.

More recently, Cherry has been awarded an MBE for her services to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Rach is studying alongside work to complete her degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Together the duo can be found plotting in the shop, creating Earls Colne's community garden, litter picking and campaigning for a better, greener future for their families.
